Hi all

I have a HP Pagewide MFP P77740z, that is recieving fax, and forwarding them to Email.

Problem is that the Email is recieved, but is repeated every 60 minutes (the interval the printer is set to check for new incomming fax)

I do not see anywhere that i am able to disable repeating of Emails, is anybody able to help ?

Printer is running latest firmware

Best regards

Bo

It maybe just the wording, but I am puzzled by the 60 minute interval to check for fax. Faxes are received as they come in. Do you have a delay set for printing faxes? Not sure why if you are forwarding to email you would want any delay. Can you post a screenshot of your settings?

Thanks for answering 🙂

The 60 minutes is the polling interval between checking for new fax - it's like it detect's the same fax over and over again, ad not clearing it.

The reason why I forward to Email is the person checking fax is working from home these days.

So you are using a fac service and not the modem built into the machine? Want to make sure I am clear on your entire setup.

no, we are using the built in modem, and the feature is setup from within the device
