Product: HP Printer M602

I change tray 2 with another printer to find the error follows the tray.  The tray starts a loud click while it tries to raise the lifter, but seems to only lift half way.  I take the tray out and the gear on the right-hand side of the tray will allow it to move the lifter freely up and down.

Hope someone can help.

Hi @McLain59,

 

As you have access to a good tray-2, I would recommend you to take out both trays (the good one and the faulty one) and try to compare them by watching them carefully. Try to spot the slightiest difference between the two.
