I have downloaded the correct driver install bundle from the hp.com/support website multiple times, when I try to execute the file it shows an extract window to completion, then closes with no other windows or errors. There is no other relevant online articles that show what to do in this case for this machine, however I have tried multiple things. 

 

I have cleared the %temp% folder, I have removed the drivers and uninstalled the printer from the machine, and nothing is working. I have tried executing the downloaded file from the command prompt, and chosen run as administrator with no luck.

 

This is increadible frustrating, what can I do besides not buy another HP printer?

The fix action was to download 7-Zip and manually extract the file, then I was able to start the installer. For some reason, executing the file would not extract the files.

I have also made sure the print spooler is running, and restarted the service among others. I have also performed multiple system reboots.

Hi,

Right click teh start button and click on Run.

Paste the following on the Run dialog and press OK, then the installation should begin:

 

C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution\HpSetup.exe
