Yesterday all worked fine. Today, after Visual C++ 2010 KB2565063 Win 10 update - printing stopped to work while scanning worked. Printer is accessed via ethernet network.
I've decided to remove printer and add it again - but some error popped up (no chance to quote as now I have changed environment). So decided to remove HP SW by Add&Remove applet and reinstall the SW from original CD (HP installer v.10). From this moment on I have the same result - the printer is detected over network correctly
But at 17% of installation crashes
but when "device installation step is in 17% - critical error message pops up in installer window (no number) saying that this error blocks using the product (???). I'm attaching screenshots in Polish illustrating the problem.
After searching this forum - I've uninstalled all HP stuff like described in the other posts (printui.exe etc.) but it doesn't helped.
Then I've tried to uninstall the KB2565063 update - also no success.
Now I can't install the SW at all - no possibility to use the device.
I feel helpless with sth what worked fine and now is not.
BTW - the device works ok when accessed from my other Win8 computers in home network.
Any ideas? Or I need to reset Windows to fresh configuration?
