How do I turn off HP Smart on this printer

Hi! @chuck2019, Welcome to HP forums.

 

I understand you would like to know how to disable the HP smart install on your printer.

 

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

 

Did you make any changes to your printer?

 

Have you tried printing from a different application?

 

Please brief the issue in complete to assist you better.

 

If you are trying to disable HP smart install try the steps recommended below.

 

You need to connect the printer to PC using a USB connection, then download and run the HP Smart Install Control Utility to disable HP Smart Install for the printer:

 

Update the software utility using this link. Click Here
