Hello everyone,
I am trying to set up a new HP Web Jetadmin installation (10.4 SR5 version) on a different server than our previous one. All of our printers are discovered correctly, and I am able to connect to any of them with the credentials I have. However, after updating the credentials of some of these printers on Jetadmin, they eventually return to the state “credential failure”.
Any ideas of how to fix this?
Thank you so much for your help!

I figured it out.
Go to Tools -> Options -> Shared -> Device -> EWS or Domain.
Add your Global EWS credentials there.
Depending on the size of your network, it may take a while for everything to refresh, but the printers should come up normally again.
Good luck!

Question: do the units that you have not changed still work and not return an error?

Hello, thanks for answering.
I have updated the credentials for all the printers. The funny thing is that some of them are working, but the rest are still showing this “credential failure” error. All the printers are working fine in our old installation (Jetadmin 10.3 SR8), after updating the credentials in this version as well.
Status after updating the credentials:
