HP m553 Fuser Reset - Supplies Reset Not Showing - HP Support Community

I replaced the fuser on an HP m553 and am trying to reset the fuser counter. The manual states to go into the manage supplies menu and select reset supplies but that option is not showing in my menu. Is there someway that this could have been set to not show and is there someway to bring it back?

Administration -> Manage supplies -> Reset supplies -> New fuser kit

What option are you missing ?

Reset supplies doesn't show as an option.

I logged in with the service pin and did a firmware update but neither resolved the issue. Regardless if I go into the supplies menu directly or go through the administration menu it appears the same and doesn't have the reset supplies option.

If options are missing, it may be necessary to format the harddrive and reinstall current firmware through the preboot menu.
