HP printer M1217nfw MFP
iOS 12 - 12.0.1

My HP Laserjet M1217nfw MFP is connected wirelessly and can print from Windows computer, but cannot be found as an Airprint printer by my iPad4. The printer is listed as Airprint compatible. The printer and iPad are connected to the same network SSID. Thanks for reading.

A warm welcome to HP Forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Updating printer firmware, router firmware and then performing a network power cycle may resolve the issue. Use the steps available here to update the printer firmware. Update the router firmware, refer to the router use guide for instructions. Once the printer and router is up to date with its firmware, use the steps below to perform a network power cycle:

1.) Turn off your iPad's, Printer and Router.

2.) Unplug the power from the back of router, wait for 10 -15 seconds.

3.) Connect the power cable back to router, turn on the router first. Wait till the router to initialize.

4.) Turn on Printer and iPads, try to print.

If issue persists, try the steps mentioned below "What if a 'No AirPrint Printers Found' message displays on my iOS device?" below FAQ's from this document.

Let me know how it goes!
