WE HAD A POWER OUTAGE AND I HAD LEFT MY HP 2410 PRINTER TURNED ON.   NOW AFTER THE OUTAGE IT COMES ONE AND CLICKS AND CLICKS, THEN QUITS CLICKING, AND THE GREEN LIGHT IS BLINKING WITH THE SCREEN FROZEN.  YES, THIS PRINTER IS OLD BUT IT WORKED FINE UNTIL THIS HAPPENED.    I HAVE UNPLUGGED IT FROM THE WALL, FROM THE PRINTER, TURNED IT OFF AND ON AND NOTHING.   JUST BLINKING WITH A FROZEN SCREEN.  CAN ANYONE HELP AS I DO NOT WANT TO BUY A NEW PRINTER.   THANKS

Does the memory count start on the screen? If so about the only thing you can try would be to perform a cold reset on the printer. Power off the printer, power it on and when the memory count starts, press and hold the cancel button until all the leds on the control panel come on. Then use the arrow keys to scroll till you find "cold reset". Press the checkmark and unit will reboot. If you cannot perform that then likley either the DC controller or the formatter is damaged and aside from buying used parts on Ebay, this printer is a brick.
