As i suggested print a straight path a test so you are isolating a whole lot of paper path sensors in the reversing assembly. The only sensor in the path would be the fuser delivery sensor and the registration sensor when the reversing assembly is isolated. So the parts would be fuser and registration. This is more related to timing and so the sensor test would always return successful. Attached steps to print straight path.
Always if you have not already tried. you could try a cold reset and then a NVRAM initialisation.
