I need to be able to clean my printer. It seems to have an exploit which affects any newly cleaned computer I hook up to it (Windows 8.1 with Bing and Windows 10 - different verstions).
When things started, I suddenly could not access my scanning ability and the printer started speaking French. I 'went with it' for a while, but it became apparent that newly formatted computers were repeatedly being hacked nearly immediately after being hooked up over and over, and this has caused other problems as well.
Where/how on earth can I get this reformatted/cleaned please ?

You can restore factory settings or even harder NVRAM initialization to reset your printer

Hi tandy67,
In order for us to give you specific instructions for this, please give us the correct model of your printer or the product number of it.
Awaiting for more info,
Cheers!

Still need help. Can't reach a live person. Tried live chat, they said they would connect me and never did. I tried the resume/reset button option but it does nothing. It really is only for resetting the electronic aspect it seems, and I have issues beyond this. How can I actually CLEAN my printer or truly reset it in a 'hard' manner please ? I keep marking this as 'new' and that falls off it seems after an hour.

Hello.
I liked the reply (and sorry this took so long to respond).
However, it still has something wrong with it. Its default should be English, but it is French. I know how to change the language, I just am concerned because it is not properly defaulting ? Any more help please ?
