- Do you get an error code with this error message?
Supply memory error occurs if there is a communication failure with the imaging drum or with the ink toner. Let us try these steps :
Step 1: Reset the printer
1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Step 2: Remove and then reinstall the imaging drum. Click here to watch a video.
-
Verify that the toner cartridge is installed correctly.
-
Remove and then reinstall the toner cartridge.
Step 3: Try with an alternate/new toner if you get the same error.
Let me know how this goes.
