@Sultana3, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Since your HP LaserJet MFP M141w was initially printing half-white pages and now won’t power on at all, this suggests a likely hardware failure, possibly related to the power supply, formatter board, or scanner assembly.
Please try these steps,
Basic Power Troubleshooting
- Confirm power: Try plugging the printer into a different wall socket (not a surge protector or extension cord).
- Test the cable: If possible, try using a different compatible power cable (standard 2-pin cable used in many HP printers).
- No LED/lights/fan sounds at all?
If it's completely dead (no signs of life), it could be a power supply board issue or a faulty formatter board.
Initial Issue – Half-white Pages
Before it died, the half-white pages suggest:
- Fuser failure: The heating element may have been malfunctioning.
- Toner cartridge problem: If the cartridge is not seated correctly or defective, it can cause incomplete prints.
- Laser scanner issue: Can cause partial prints if the beam isn't scanning the full width of the page.
Combined with the fact that it now doesn’t turn on, it could mean the internal electronics failed after repeated strain.
We suggest you please visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
