Thank you for stopping by the HP support forums. A very good day to you. I have reviewed the post and am more than glad to assist you here. As a first time visitor to this community, I want to make this a memorable experience since you are a valued HP customer. Brilliant diagnosis of the issue. Kudos to you for that.
- Did you check the user guide of the printer to restore it to factory defaults?
For now, try visiting the EWs page of the printer by printing a network configuration report. VIist the user guide link:http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05847830 and refer to page 68 for instructions on how this is done.
- This should take care of it for you.
- if it continues, then I will send a private message to perform an NVRAM reset on the printer that takes it back to factory setting in a private message.
- These instructions are exclusively for this printer and will not work with any other printer.
I will send you a private message to assist you with the next course of action. Check your forum private message box in the upper right corner next to the bell icon.
Good luck and keep me posted about the developments. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue and give the post a Kudos for my efforts to help. Thank you and have a great week ahead. 🙂
