The whole page is a bit pale. Economode is OFF. The Toner Cartridge has plenty of powder left. Is there software that will do this, or can it be done through the printer controls?

The Toner Cartridge has plenty of powder left doesn't mean it can print our dark enough even if brand new's one is the same.

It may be broken in somewhere especially the one has been left in box too long or used for years even through there's many toner powder left.

You can try it by pressing the green button from the front panel if the demo page is pale still then you may need to replace it.

If you can have another toner cartridge which really good one then you'll know that it's not about  Economode or ptint density.

It's a worn toner cartridge.

Hi there, that's it!  Put in new toner cartridge, printing perfectly.

I didn't know a half-full cartridge could be duff.
