Welcome to HP Community

Let's try these steps

Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printer > Click on the Tab " Print Server Properties "> Click on the Advance Tab> Disable all the boxes under the Advance Tab.

Keep me posted how it goes 😊

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Solution Accepted" on this Post and it will also help other community members with similar issue.

HI,  Thanks but this changed nothing.  The notification was slower but still appeared. Received another suggestion to go to the Printer Control Panel, touch Setup Icon, touch System Setup, touch Supply settings, touch Black Catridge, touch Very Low Setting, choose Prompt and then choose NEVER.  I cannot even find Setup Icon.  Still stuck then.

Your printer does not have a Touchscreen control panel so the solution you mentioned is not applicable for your printer

I suggest you go to the EWS Page and check in the different Tabs if you have the options to turn off Notifications

- Print a Network Config Page and Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the EWS Page

Else I suggest you contact HP Support for further assistance

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Thank you

Hi,  Thanks, but this does not help.  No matter what is checked off in the advanced settings, there is no change.  The lowink notification remains.  I have uninstalled the HP Smart app.  This changes the messages, but not the fact that I am still getting a notification.

I have not had the time to check the EWS yet but I will.  As far as contacting HP, they want to charge $54 + to help.  Sorry, but that is not cost effective on a $100 printer.

Check the EWS Page and you might have the option to disable notifications
