Hello, i have two MFP M477fdw, coonected only by network cabling. we would like to know how to use the scan2mail function for sending multibples page into one single pdf file, instead of multiples pdf files (one pdf for each page). since the device is conneceted only by utp cabling, we would like to use the LCD panel in the printer. there is no option for adding more pages to the file, so it just scan one page from the adf and send the email, then scan the next page and so. would you please tell me if this this printer is able to do it? thanks a lot! Guillermo

You have on printer front USB port, insert USB drive and use Scan to USB option on your front panel and try to scan multiple pages to USB and check on your computer does it scan all in one or multiple pdfs.

If you use ADF for scanning multiple pages they should be scanned and sent to email in one pdf automatically.
Have you changed some scanning settings in printers option?
Check scanning resolution set it to 150 DPI. If the file is too big then it will be sent in multiple pdfs. Also, check for maximum attachment size in a scan to email options in EWS.

Hi Valsimot thanks for your fast answer.
yes, i have changed some options via EWS
-configuration of smtp-->Maximun size of attachment (i checked with value = auto and value= 20 Mb which is the maximun from the list)
-email options--> scan config (file type=pdf, resolution= 150dpi, color= color, file prefix= scan_)
any idea what the problem could be?
regards.
