I apologise if I hurt you. I didn't mean to hurt you or the company. My only point is that a customer must not be forced to buy something he would not require. Since you are an employee of hp, you can help in updating the software of the printer so that absence of a cartridge can be ignored and print continued. This updating must not be difficult for the company. This will make more people buy hp.

Another point I would like to bring to your notice is that I was told that hp does not give warranty on cartridges. This also is unfair. There must be warranty for some period at least. Kindly bring this to the notice of the concerned officers.

Every successful company knows that it is the after-sales service and customer satisfaction which are more important than selling a machine.

Hi RaoPN,

Every ink or toner cartridge has a warranty date stamped on the cartridges. The warranty for a cartridge is not the same warranty as the printer. Have a wonderful day.

I am an HP employee.

Why do you produce such a terrible product that you can't use it in black and white mode without having Cyan , Yellow or Magenta ?
