I have low toner flashing buttons on my CP1215 laserjet printer. Is there a method to reset the printer so that I can continue printing, there is still toner in the cartridge? (reset is possible on other manufacturer printers).

@Kiwiman,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you follow the below steps to override the toner alert.

  1. Open Toolbox.
    • Click All Programs, click HP, click your product, and then click HP Color LaserJet CP1210 Series Toolbox.
  2. Click the Device Settings folder, and then click the System Setup page.
  3. Next to Cartridge out override, select On to turn on the override feature.
  4. Select Off to turn off the override feature later, if desired.

Thank you for your suggestion. I am running Windows 10 and I do not have a HP Toolbox neither can I find a manner to get this for W10. I did read somewhere that you can disable the low toner problem by turning off the printer and, whilst holding the green and red buttons, turn the printer on. Wait a while, then release the buttons, the printer should go to a Ready state.

The above worked for me.
