This printer was just installed on a new Dell desktop computer and just started screeching every time it prints. I've had the printer for about a year but the computer is a new one with Windows 10. I tried replacing the black cartridge which was showing as low.

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.

I would try to determine where the noise is coming from.There is a lot of turning parts inside the machine to take a guest on what could be causing this.Try to eliminate the noise by hearing and then see whats causing this is about the best way to go about this problem.Once the area has been located then we can try and find the solution.Sorry if that is the best i can offer at this stage.

if you print from tray 1 are you having the same issue? Worn out rubber rollers that are picking up paper from tray 2 can make screech noise, also if you are using aftermarket toner cartridges the problem can be in them.
