Hi @Acalin,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating this is when all three lights (Attention, Ready, and Go) are solid on your HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn; it usually means the printer is stuck in an error state or firmware lock.

Here’s the recommended fix:
Step 1: Power Reset

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Step 2: Check for Paper or Jam

  • Open the input and output trays.
  • Remove any paper stuck inside.
  • Make sure the paper path is clear.

Step 3: Reset Printer

  • Press and hold the Go button for 5–10 seconds until the lights cycle.
  • This forces a cold reset.

Step 4: Update Firmware

Step 5: Check Connection

  • If using USB, try a different port and cable.
  • If using a network, confirm the Ethernet cable and IP settings.

Step 6: If Still Stuck

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
