HP LaserJet 200 color M251
macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I just started getting faint shadow images, b/w and color, print and picture, about 2-2.5" below regular print. Printer doesn't get that much usage.  It is across entire pg, not just edges. On color image shadow is b/w.

I will try and assist. This sounds to me like the fuser unit is contaminated or defective. If the image that appears on the page is from a different document it might be toner burnt on to the roller.Inspect the rollers and clean if possible.Other wise replace the fuser unit should solve the problem.

Thanks Copier Pro. I just printed a list of 23 sentences 10 times and they got progressively lighter, almost unreadable at the end. The 9th copy actually had a darker strip of printing about an inch wide about 2 " from the left margin, but that was the only copy that did that. So do I spend $180 and try to install a new fuser unit or is it better to buy a new printer. I just stocked up on cartridges and I hate to throw them away. I guess I could buy the same model if I can still find it, or find a model that uses the same carts. Your opinion please. Thanks!
