HP LASER JET PRO M104W
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I HAVE HP LASER JET PRO M104W PRINTER BUT AT THE TIME PRINTING GETTING ERROR ON PRINT PAPER IS UNSUPPORTED PERSONALITY : UNKNOW, I M TRYING TO RESOLVE ISSUE BY REINSTTALING PRINTER DRIVER 3 TO 4 TIMES BUT GETTING SOME ERROR EVERY TIME, PLEASE HELP OUT TO RELOVE MY ERROR

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

 

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

 

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

 

Once done, please download and install the software from here:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

DEAR SIR,

After 2 3 prints once agian same problem is started , attention light (red) once again blinking.

Do you get any error message along with that?

 

Let's try to reset the Printer here:

Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  1. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  2. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  3. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  4. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  5. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  6. NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.

I m getting error of unsupported personality:unknown & attention light blinking red

reinstall the printer and make sure its picking up the right driver for the right model of your printer.

Right click on the printer and select printer properties then on the advanced tab - you should select the correct driver on the drop down list. Hope it works to you. It worked to me.
