LaserJet 4600 product 68
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

LaserJet 4600, the model I have does not have wireless capability. It does have an after market Ethernet card installed and is connected to my router. It is not appearing on my network. From some help videos it seems i need to change the IP address or reset the IP card's address.

You either need to set the network adapter to DHCP which will then get an address that is auto-assigned by your router, or you must manually put in an address that will be on the same network as your other devices.

For instance:

workstation address is 192.168.1.25

Printer address would need to be 192.168.1.xxx  (where XXX is a unique code between 1 and 254 and not used by any other printer on your network.

As you do not state the type of adapter you have I cannot tell you exactly how to program it, but usually you can find a programming guide by googling the manufacturer or the model number.
