Product: HP colour laser jet pro mpf m180nw
Operating System: iOS 12 - 12.0.1

I have a brand new HP laser Jet MFP M180nw and I need to direct print. My phone and iPad find it but ask for a password. I do not know the default but its not 12345678. Please help before I cry

Print a configuration page from the printer-

 

  • On the printer control panel, press the Setup button
  • Open the Reports menu 
  • Select Configuration Report

 

The report should have a Wi-Fi Direct password.
