HP Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M477fdn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a MFP M477fdn printer and wish to convert it to a wireless model (MFO M477fdw).  I purchased and installed the wireless board and cable to do this (part numbers 1150-7967 and CF377-60115).  Of course I had hoped that upon printer reboot, it would recognise the wifi board and therefore offer wifi setup settings on the built in display.  Perhaps this was too much wishful thinking.  It looks like the software on the printer needs to be changed but I was not able to find a download for this on the website.  Any insights/solutions would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Blair

You can't convert it to wireless because the main boards are different, and there is no public available download to convert nonwireless main board to the wireless mainboard.
