If the device supports hardware OCR then that OCR is embedded in the operating system of the printer and there is no installation required or upgrading other than firmware updates.

I`ve used the Printer Modell i wrote above already vor two years with windows 7. Now that I have a new laptop with windows 10, I connected the same printer but the Funktion IRIS OCR (all from HP), is not any more available. What do you suggest I have to do, to install it? Probably I have to have a new license as I believe, but wich one? Wich IRIS OCR version do I have to buy? Or there is an other way to use the software that already have used with my old computer until now? Thank you for any help.
