Hi Guys,
Having read the user manual online, looked at posts and watched various clips about this on utube I can't find a definitive answer to the eternal question, "If one toner cartridge runs out on this colour laser printer, will it continue to print using the other toner cartridges"?
Anyone out there know the definitive answer from your experience that you can share please?
Thanks for reading and taking the time to reply.

As far as i know the printer will prompt for the replacement of that toner before continuing to print. This is most probably because it uses all the colours to print the correct colors.Hope this will help.
It is so nice to give some help where possible and the forum is a great idea Thank You.Sometimes a picture speaks louder than words to find a solution.Should you find my help use full just give some credit for my effort please.
.Thank You.Copier-Pro

Not sure if this applies to the LaserJet M452, but on my LaserJet Pro 400 Colour MFP M475dn (MFP equivalent of M451dn) you can set (via the front panel menu system):
- Low Threshold values for the Black and Colour cartridges; I think that the default is 20%.
- Very Low Action - one of Stop, Prompt or Continue.
I don't think that these values can be set via the Embedded Web Server equivalent ot the front panel menu system.
On my M475dn, the Black cartridge is shown as 30% remaining, and all three colour ones are shown with no percentage (i.e. very, very low), but the printer still prints OK (even with spot colour prints, although I don't do much colour printing) with Very Low action values of Continue.
On the EWS Supplies Detail page, it include a note that (with Very Low supplies): "...The supply does not need to be replaced now unless the print quality is no longer acceptable ...".
