Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283cdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The HP instructions t https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2478857-2318080-16 on how to orient an evelope for printing is incorrect.  It says to place the print side up.  But my printer prints the envelope on the side facing down.  How do you let HP know about this error?

Thank you.  Sorry tor the delayed response.  I didn't know your messages went to my spam folder and there was a delay in delivery.   I thought to help others by pointing out the error.  The online instructions (see link in original post) only listed the wrong orientation for tray 1.  I only have 1 tray for printing paper.

Based on the age and life status of this printer it is unlikely that HP will issue any sort of correction as this is not a life and safety issue. My opinion in dealing with HP for over 20 years.

There are 2 possible paper input sources. The pull out tray that you can load with multiple sheets and the single sheet bypass slot just above the tray.

The first actual drawer on an HP laserjet is always called Tray 2. The single page slot or manual tray is called Tray 1. This has been the HP standard reference for at least 25 years.
