It would be helpful to know the exact printer model. Colors not printing as you want them can be due to many possibilities. It could be the wrong printer driver being used, wrong driver settings, toner cartridge colors not being the right color shades, printer color needs calibrated, the computer monitor you're using is out of calibration. I've fixed customer's printed color shades being off by simply calibrating their computer monitor correctly.

Hi @TinaSa
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you have print quality issues on the printer. I'd be happy to assist you. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
- Try making a standalone copy in color and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.
- Which application are you trying to print from?
- Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?
Update the printer firmware
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Check the toner levels
From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe left, and then touch Supplies. Replace a low or empty toner cartridge.
Print a cleaning page
From the Home screen on the printer control panel, swipe left, and then touch Setup.
Touch Service, and then touch Cleaning Page.
Load plain, white paper when you are prompted.
Touch OK to begin the cleaning process.
Try to print again to see if the issue is resolved. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.
Perform steps 5 and 8 from this document.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
