Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Insufficient memory....Spooling gets hung up when it reaches 256 kb.. device itself says error code 079.

is  this happening with a specific print job or anything you send to the printer?

Its happenig with all print jobs. Have so far tried the following with little luck:

 

- turn printer off for a while then turn back on

- restore factory default settings

- reinstal PCL6

try updating the firmware on the printer.  you can download it at HP.com under the support and drivers.  follow the instructions to the letter, otherwise you risk making the printer inoperable.
