Product: Laserjet pro m281
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I am trying to print out invites on either watercolor paper or glassy cardstock.  Each time the print is smeared or blurry.  I am sure I am doing something wrong.....

As per the paper handling specifications available here,  HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281 supports transparencies, labels, envelopes and cardstock. The steps mentioned in this document should help you troubleshoot and resolve the print quality issue.
