Example: PavilionLaserJet 4 65XX
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Would like to add a network server card, JetDirect card, to an old fully functional LaserJet 4 printer that currently does not have network capability.  Anyone know which card(s) would be appropriate for this printer.  Info not on HP site.  Thx.

No, What @ALS-77  said was not right!  Sorry about that.

Any one of HP JetDirect card J2552A,  J2556A, J4106A, J4100A,  J2550 will do.

Find one from eBay it should be cheap.

Companies like Startech and TP Link also make a network adapter that connects to the parallel port of the LJ4.
