Laser Jet M102W Paper feeder not catching paper

We have 3 of these printers in use at a new office.  All three of them have started to act up.  The pritners are not even 24 months old yet.

When a print job fires, the paper usually does not feed through the rollers properly.  You can see it rise up in the back of the feeder but it usually does not catch.  After about 30seconds the printer tries again with moderate success. We have also found that removing the stack of paper from the feeder and re-instering fires the print job faster than the 30s turn around, but it is hit and miss of the rollers properly catch the paper.  

This happens even when the paper tray is full.

I will try and give some points to look at.Remove the toner cartridge and looking inside the machine towards the base there is a paper feed wheel.This might be very dirty or worn out.Clean the roller with a soapy wet cloth and try agian.

Should this not help there might be something underneath the bottom plate lifting the paper towards the feed wheel.

Check for any obstruction under the plate.

Should it still not work there is a problem on the feeding gears on the side of the machine.Its got a magnetic cluth and a splitgear stoping the feed roller.Inside the 2 gears that is together fitted there is n spring that migh have unhooked.

Should it feed a sheet or two after cleaning the paper feed wheel consider replacing paperfeed wheel.
