This is a great location to get assistance! I read your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dn Printer is stuck on initialization. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

Perform a Hard Reset on the printer.

Remove the power cable from the printer when it is turned on.

Press and hold the power button for 60secs.

Connect the power cable to printer and directly to wall outlet.

Turn on the printer.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.

Thanks.  It started working by itself again.  This happened the previous day too, but it is very random.  The last time it did this was a month ago and before that about 2 months ago.   So it is happening more often.

Is it okay to try the reset now or should I want until it is stuck in the "initializing" mode again?
