HP Laser Jet Pro M102
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The printer is printing smudges on the paper.  Makes a noise like something is flipping insider - no paper is stuck.  Also 2 small pieces of black plastic came out the look as it there were around something.  Checked Laser jet cartage - clear.  Took out green cylinder - clear cannot remove back to check if anything is caught.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

For computers with Windows, Open HP Printer Assistant, and then print a cleaning page.

  1. Turn on the printer.

  2. Search Windows for laserjet, and then click the printer name in the list of results.

    HP Printer Assistant opens.

  3. Click Print, and then click HP Device Toolbox.

  4. Click the System tab, and then click Service.

  5. In the Cleaning Mode section, click Start to begin the cleaning process.

If the issue persists, please perform the remaining steps from this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-laserjet-pro-m102-printer-series/9365392/document/c05202849
