When printing a 2-page document, my hp1606dn prints only page 2 if printing duplex (print on both sides)., and I get a blinking Attention Light. If I then press the Go button, it will print page 1.  A 2-page document will print both pages if printing simplex (print one side).  I am printing from MS Word, but it is the same regardless of the app I'm using.

A 1-page document prints if printing simplex, but if printing duplex it prints a blank page (page 2?). I can then print page 1 by pressing the Go button.

I have not tested longer documents.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have done a hard restart (unplugging for a couple minutes) and a Restore Factory Settings.  Seems like a problem in the duplex printing, but I can't figure it out.

You need to check duplex settings on the device you are printing from. You are now using manual duplex, you need to set it to automatic.

Thank you. This seems to have solved the problem.
