HP LaserJet 400 Color Pro M451DN
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Good morning,

I have a HP LaserJet 400 Color Pro M451DN that, whenever I print, also prints some kind of vertical stripes along the right side of the page.

I tried updating both the drivers and Windows, and also performing a cleaning by printing the cleaning page, however the problem still persists.

Any advise on how to fix this annoying problem?

Hi,

Try to change the toner that have the same color as the stripe. If I remeber correctly the sheets are pulled trough the printer "sideways" and the line can be created by the toner itself.

Thank you for your response. I will try that and let you know about it.

I am having the same problem even after replacing the toner.  When do you know the drum needs to be replaced?

Drum in this printer is part of the toner cartridge. Every time you replace toner, you have replaced the drum. You might have a problem with the image transfer belt if replacing toner didn't help.

I just saw your picture, and I would say that it is the transfer belt. I don't know why but I had it in my mind that you had one small stripe and not a whole bunch... probably confusing this with something else. Sorry.
