I just reloaded factory settings and it worked for me.

I had the exact issue everyone else was describing. Mine was resolved in a sorta dumb way.

The paper in tray 2 was not scooted towards the front from the back of the tray. Once I scooted it all classroom laptops printed without me changing any settings on the printer itself. problem resolved.

Tried everything...  What fixed this for me on M775 printer:

Control Panel
Devices and Printers
Right click on the HP printer
Select Printing peferences
Set the following:
    Paper Source:  Automatically Select
    Media:  Auto Select

Ensure both are set to auto.

I have a similar problem.  Whenever I try printing it gives me a message to load Pre-punched paper to Tray 1 to change press OK.  Once I press OK twice it prints.  But I need to be able to send jobs to the printer without having to make a trip every time.  I have Manual feed disabled in the printer, changed the PCL settings as suggested, set up the print preferences to Tray 2 and it still does the same thing.  Please help!!!
