Hi,

What is this error called? I have not found it among the listed problems I've seen. You can clearly see it when looking at the horizontal lines as they are crooked/"double". I have changed toner cassettes, no change. Does anyone know the cause of this error?

Thanks,

Viktor

It is called skewing and common causes are tray stops not set properly,  obstruction in paper path or faulty registration assembly or feed assembly.

Thanks. I adjusted the tray and also tried printing from tray 1, but the problem remains. I also tried printing rectangles in yellow, magenta and cyan, and the problem is the same for all colors.

I did find a part that was not fitted straight (probably was beat up during transport) and fixed that, but it didn't solve the issue. How do I check to see if there's an "obstruction in paper path"? Where would this be?

Thanks!

Update: While I was printing a large number of pages, I suddenly noticed the problem had gone away altogether. I have no idea how this happened. Now everything is working fine. Thanks for your replies!
