Solved!

LaserJet P1102w printing problem

HP Recommended
LaserJet P1102w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Having problems "seeing" this printer. I get feedback to say it is off-line, then it prints after a few minutes, but keeps on printing the same page continuousley until I pull the papaer out . Have tried removing from system and re-installing. Tried removing power lead for a few minutes etc. anyone any ideas?

1. the reason you keep getting a reprint is that Windows does not get a job complete signal from the printer. You need to manually clear the print spooler, different from just deleting from the print queue. Lots of resource on how to do this if you google.

2. When you reinstall, if you are using networking, make sure you are using a TCP/IP port for communication on the print driver and not a WSD port. WSD ports are notorious for not communicating properly and causing printers to appear offline even when they are connected.
