Product: LaserJet Pro M12w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is there a default password for the LaserJet Pro M12w ?

Background: I installed the printer on my WiFi network and it prints wirelessly from two PCs (Win 10). No I need to print from my iPhone 6. The printer is shown on the iPhone but requires a password for beeing used; and I don't have a password.

(I'm not interested to buy a new printer with Apple Airprint or use HP's e-print solution). Thanks. Harald

Hi,

I afraid the HP Laserjet Pro M12w printer is not compatible with iOS, mobile printing is only supported on Android or Google Chrome.

 

You may find the printer specifications below:

Easily print from mobile devices with Android™ version 4.4 or later or Google Chrome™ operating systems.6

6 Feature does not work with an iPhone®, an iPad®, or mobile devices running Windows®
