LaserJet Pro M252dw Shut Down

When the "Shut Down After Inactivity" time expires (under Energy Savings) and the printer shuts down, should a print job wake the printer or does it need to be waken by pressing the power button.

I see that you would like to know why you're unable to print when you have "Shut Down After" selected on your HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw Printer. If you wish to be able to print to the printer without having to turn the printer on, do not use the Shut Down After mode, it turns the printer off. 

I recommend using the "Sleep/Auto Off After" mode instead, that way the printer only goes to sleep, rather than shutting off.

One MUST choose a time under the Shut Down After mode, there is not an option "do not use".  I selected 8 hours which is the max but if one sleeps in and 8 hours + has passed  . . .
