I just bough this printer and cannot seem to get it to print properly on card stock. Regular printer paper runs smoothly and gives crisp images, but printing on an A7 sized card prints a mismatched image (partially appearing twice, with different starting points) and streaky - see image below.

I recieved this printer this weekend and have run diagnostics, cleaning and calibrating, and the ink is full. It's wirelessly connected with strong signal, and prints to office paper just fine. Within my mac, I'm telling the printer that the measurements are 10x7 and loading it in the main paper drawer with the guides adjusted to fit snugly but not bending the paper.

Does anyone know what's going on? Thank you!

I love you.jpg

I Understand the print quality on a cardstock isn't as pretty as it needs to be,

Don't worry, though, I'll help you get it's beauty back with refreshing makeover 😉

To clarify before we proceed,

Are you using Genuine HP Toner? you've not made any changes, have you?

To fix print quality issues, just follow the step by step instructions mentioned below and everything should be pretty again:

Solution one: Use genuine HP toner cartridges (if you already are, skip to the next recommended solution)

Solution two: Check the paper

The quality and type of paper can affect the print job. Follow these guidelines to make sure that the paper is appropriate. If it is not, load an appropriate paper type.

Solution three: Check the print settings

Sometimes the print settings can affect the print quality. Select your operating system, and then check the print settings to make sure that they are appropriate for your print job.
