LaserJet Pro M401n

I've tried two different  ink cartirdiges and the right side of the page is still faded.  I've had this printer for a few years and print often.

It could be dirty optics in the laser unit.

A sample would help with diagnosis,  but I will bet that the fuser film is failing on this unit.  Look closely at the defective side of the page.  If there are repeating defects then likely the cause will be the fuser.
