HP LaserJet Pro MFP M426-M427 series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product displays "Jam in cartridge area" and will not function. Fully examining the unit several times and in all appropriate areas, I couldn't find any jam. The unit doesn't function. I'm stuck. The unit had just displayed a "low on toner message" prior to saying it was jammed. What to do?

I know this is a late response, however, if you still have the printer, I had the same issue. I could not see anything when pulling the ink cartridge. I pushed the printer aside and, as I was about to order another, I saw the access panel on the back of the unit. I opened that and immedietly saw the jam that was not visible from the front.

I just made an account on here to thank you for that! I was at a complete loss and assumed it was a sensor issue. Went at it with half a can of air duster before reading your post.  Opened the back and pulled out an accordion-ified paper that had been jammed.
