HP Laserjet Pro M426 fdn.
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hello,

I have a problem with Mac-Mojave-macOS 10.14.4 and HP Laserjet Pro M426 fdn.

Since I have installed Mojave on Mac Air and ugrade to macOS 10.14.4 I can’t anymore scann using HP Easy Scann App. I have HP Laserjet Pro M426 fdn. Of course, I tried to download proper driver and firmware from official HP web site but, whan I did everything  still didn’t work. I also entered web printer settings and disabled Ipv6 but without succes.

I can print but can’t scann.

Mojave reconized printer but only printer, without scanner. There is no scanner near printer button when I enter preferences/printers. Only printer button.

Can someone help me?

Open a ticket with HP on this one.

It sounds like the software update from one OS version to another broke the software.  Normally a full uninstall and then reinstall will correct an issue like this.  However, you claim to have tried these steps already and the scanning feature still does not work.

Let us know if HP can tell you anything about this problem so we can share with others.
