LaserJetPro MFP M127fw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My LaserJetPro MFP M127fw is no longer able to connect to web services or print from Hp Eprint. I have updated to the firmware to the most current and still getting server connection errors. I am also unable to see printer as an AirPrint printer. Has this printer been removed from supporting web services there is no information online about it being removed that I have found.

Thanks,

Mike

No Errors and 4 bars on the signal strength. ePrint seems to be working wirelessly again. I've spent a few days on this, wish I would have thought about the ethernet connection before.

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

The pritner supports web services and hasn't been removed..

Please try setting a manual DNS server and check if that help:

  • Tap the network icon on the pritner and then the active connection type (Wi-Fi or Network) to locate its IP address.
  • From yoru computer browse to that address, the pritner's EWS page opens.
  • Open teh Network tab.
  • Click on Network Identification
  • Set the Primary DSN as 8.8.8.8
  • Set the Secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4

MNow try openning the Web Services tab and check for any difference.

Please let me know if that may work,

Shlomi

Changed Prinary DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and Alt DNS server 8.8.4.4. No change. Check wireless settings, verified wireless settings and getting valid Ip address from router. Wireless light solid and wire;ess menu says connected. Stil lgetting server connection errors. Plugged in an ethernet cord and now it will ePrint again. The printer configuration page it connects to wireless fine but no ePrint with wireless what could be wrong?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mark,

Please unplug the ethernet cable and enter the Wireless menu, then select Print Reports and print a Wireless Test Report.

Does the report indicate any error?

How is the shown signal quality?

How far is the printer located from your router?

Please ensure it is not located too far away, but not closer than 2 meters away as well..
