Product: Dell
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My new computer Dell with Windows 10 Home recognizes my HP2430dtn printer as a USB device rather than a printer. I have installed the latest PCL 6 driver with the updated UPD driver per HP instructions prior to installing the printer. Reinstalling the driver solved nothing?

Manually add printer without letting Win10 do it itself by selecting "Old printer not on the list ?" -> add a local printer or ....(the bottom one) -> DOT4_001 002 003..... -> click "Windows Update" under the right side of the list -> waiting for its finishing -> find again on HP list.

If there's no driiver on the list you can use the one which you download.
