When I attempt to print, I get a printed message as follows:  ERROR: undefined  OFFENDING COMMAND: New   STACK:    /AAAAAC+*  /FontName

I have no idea what this means

Errors like this are likely PostScript or PCL6 errors.  They are tied to the current driver you have installed on your OS for this printer.  Thus, swapping to a different driver language should resolve the problem.

Review the driver options that are posted on teh HP support site for your OS and printer model.  If an alternative is available then download and install it to see if it solves the problem.

If no options are available then your printer should be compatible with HP Universal Print Drivers.  Visit the UPD page for your OS and download an alternative language that is compatible with your OS.  Then retest your document.

What is happening in a nutshell is that your print driver is generating a print stream with some kind of a violation in it.  The printer is unable to process this command and spits out the error message that you captured.  You can try to paintstakingly comb through your documents to isolate and remove the part of the print job causing the error, or just do what the rest of us do and use a print driver that can handle that situation better.

We normally switch to PostScript drivers when we encounter problems like this.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction!    A file was corrupted...  I had a hunch which one it was and was able to print after I took the trouble page out.
